Kim's Collectibles - The New Kid in Town
My best friend Debra T. works with me and she
contributes a lot of hard work, a friendly smile, and great customer
relations to the store. I am a mother of three boys and was a
photographer, manager for many years. I have always had passion for the
past, and think that I may have been born that way. Along with that I
have a natural keen eye and outstanding attraction to old things. I I get very emotional and excited when finding the perfect antique or artifact. It really is tremulous thrill that just overcomes my whole body. Sometimes it is even difficult for me to watch antiques go out the door after I sell them. I sold a piece of Weller the other day, and the customer must have noticed that I was having a hard time parting with it. It must have been my body language, but she assured me it was going to a good home and she was going to take good care of it.

everyone, I am new on the block in the antique & artifact business,
so let me introduce myself. I am Kim J., owner of Kim's Collectibles in
Springfield, Ohio. I opened the store May 1, 2009 and it is located on
the west side of Springfield in the Western Plaza right on Routes 40/4.

always wanted to run my own store. In fact I came from a family of
storeowners. My grandfather, Phylas Taylor, and great-great grandfather,
Thomas Mead, had their own stores. I did not want to turn 90 years old
and say to myself, "Why didn't I at least give it a try?"
We have a wide selection of things in the store,
ranging from Indian artifacts, antique furniture, advertising
memorabilia, Fenton, Mosser, Belleek, Weller, Van Briggle, antique toys,
country items plus we have collectibles like Lenox, Longaberger, Boyds,
tools, bottles and kitchen items. We strive to meet all your needs by
keeping a variety of high quality items at low prices. Here we
understand the needs of our customers and we go out of our way to meet
those needs. If you want something that we do not have, I am committed
